Privacy Policy

Effective date — July 1, 2026

BigWave Software, LLC (“BigWave,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides field service management software and related services (the “Services”) through bigwavesoftware.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors to our Site and to the businesses and users who use our Services.

By using the Site or the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Services.

Information we collect

We collect information in three main ways.

Information you provide to us. When you contact us, request a demo, start a trial, or register for an account, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, company name, and any message or details you choose to share. If you become a paying customer, we also collect the billing and account information needed to provide and invoice the Services.

Data you enter into the Services (“Customer Data”). When you use BigWave to run your operations, you and your users enter data about your business, projects, work orders, sites, and your own customers. This may include names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of your customers and contacts. We process Customer Data on your behalf and at your direction so we can provide the Services. You are responsible for the Customer Data you enter and for having the necessary rights and permissions to provide it to us.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site or use the Services, we automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring pages, and timestamps. We collect this information using cookies and similar technologies (see below).

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small piece of information a website stores on your device and reads when you return. We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, to keep you signed in, for security (for example, automatically signing out inactive sessions), and to understand how the Site and Services are used so we can improve them.

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish real visitors from automated bots; this service may set cookies and collect device and connection information to do so. Some of our service providers may also set cookies when you use the Site. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, but some features of the Site or Services may not work properly without them.

How we use information

  • Provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and Services.
  • Respond to your inquiries and fulfill demo and trial requests.
  • Set up and administer accounts and process transactions and billing.
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, security, and support.
  • Send marketing or informational messages, from which you can opt out at any time.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use trusted third parties to help us run our business — for example, hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing, and bot and spam protection (such as Cloudflare). They may access information only to perform services for us and are required to protect it.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, a court order, subpoena, or other lawful request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of BigWave, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers. If BigWave is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We share Customer Data only as needed to provide the Services or as directed by the customer who controls that data.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. We retain Customer Data in accordance with your use of the Services. When an account is closed, we will delete or deactivate Customer Data on request, though some information may remain in backups or records of deletion for a period of time, or where retention is required by law.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, and we limit access to personnel who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

  • Marketing. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us.
  • Access and correction. You may ask us to access, update, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by contacting us, and we will respond as required by applicable law. If your request concerns Customer Data controlled by a BigWave customer, we will direct you to, or coordinate with, that customer.
  • Cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Children’s privacy

The Site and Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Where your information is processed

BigWave is based in the United States, and we store and process information in the United States. If you access the Site or Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.

The Site may contain links to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated policy on this page. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice as appropriate.
