The vendor leveraged BigWave’s fixed assets management system create an Asset Type called Software License. Then the vendor created custom fields that represented the type of software license being tracked. Using BigWave’s reporting feature, they are able to create a view of all software licenses with dates due and can easily manage this process now.
The client used BigWave’s fixed assets management system creating an Asset Type of Light Pole and defined custom fields to capture required information such as height. The client was able to imported all of the retailer’s locations and light pole assets into the system quickly, a maintenance schedule for each light pole was uploaded, and automatic reports and work orders are generated for each light pole that requires servicing. This eliminated the clumsy and manual tracking method employed on Excel spreadsheets. The client’s customer is now able to login to view any and all details about the light poles under management.
BigWave’s web-based asset management system was used to create custom field definitions, capture POS information, schedule and assign multiple milestone activities for each site. In addition, jobsite technicians were able to document capture all artifacts collected for each site. BigWave was the central database that enabled both Starbuck’s and the service personnel to streamline the rollout process and stay on top of key issues. Using BigWave, the entire rollout process was simplified and successful.
Each air conditioning unit is barcoded for quick and easy access to its details and history. Within BigWave’s system, unit maintenance is automatically scheduled according to customizable maintenance settings. The result is every air conditioner unit’s break/fix record is tracked completing a full lifecycle picture of each unit.
Using BigWave, Target’s service provider deploys and maintains pin pad devices at each POS register. Pin pads are delivered from the service provider’s warehouse to a Target location where technicians are scheduled and employed to install the pin pads. Each pin pad is tracked using BigWave’s web-based asset management system, enabling rich documentation and history for each pin pad asset.
